Summary

The "Build your own hardware device in 4 hours (AI wearable)" workshop, hosted by GrowthX in Bengaluru, brings together founders, software engineers, and curious builders for an intensive, hands-on experience in physical AI and hardware product development.

Over a single afternoon, 15 participants deconstruct the end-to-end journey of turning an idea into a retail-ready hardware device. The workshop covers product development roadmaps, hands-on walkthroughs of production schematics, PCB layouts, and Gerber files, and practical soldering where everyone builds and tests their own functional AI wearable to take home.

Led by Ayussh Khurana (GTM & Community, GrowthX) and Udayan Walvekar (Co-founder & CEO, GrowthX), with experienced floor mentors guiding every step, the workshop is designed for complete beginners and seasoned developers alike—no prior hardware or soldering experience required.

Highlights

  • Hands-On Soldering & Assembly: Build, solder, and test your own functional AI wearable device from scratch.
  • Idea-to-Shelf Playbook: Understand how consumer electronics transition from napkin sketches to factory manufacturing and retail distribution.
  • 1-on-1 Mentor Guidance: Dedicated floor mentors supporting participants at every step of the assembly process.
  • Take-Home Device: Walk away with a soldered, fully operational hardware device and the confidence to design your next board.
